Bright Emotions CIC, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of children and families through creative and therapeutic work.
At Bright Emotions we empower children & families (aged 4+) helping them to understand, express, and manage emotions through play, creativity, movement, nature and community.
A key part of our work is recognising that emotional regulation is not just for children, it is essential for adults too. When parents and caregivers feel supported and able to regulate their own emotions, they are better able to co-regulate with children. Regulated adults help create regulated children.
Our work focuses on early intervention and prevention, providing safe, nurturing spaces where children and families can explore emotions, build confidence and feel understood.
We want to be part of BAYS Foundation because its vision to enhance physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through inclusive community activity, sport and nature aligns deeply with the core values of Bright Emotions.
BAYS’ commitment to creating safe, welcoming environments and strengthening community connections resonates with our belief that wellbeing is holistic and thrives when emotional, social and physical health are supported together.
Our organisation is particularly passionate about collaboration. When organisations bring together different strengths and approaches, we can create richer and more accessible support for our whole community.
Through this partnership, I hope we can help create safe, welcoming spaces where people feel they belong… spaces where children, young people and adults can come together, share experiences, and feel supported within their community.
Increase access to emotional wellbeing support for children and families across Bedford.
Support parents and caregivers with emotional regulation tools, recognising that when adults feel supported, children benefit too.
Create safe spaces for connection, belonging and shared experiences, where people can talk, create, move and learn together.
Integrate emotional wellbeing into community activity, combining movement, creativity, nature and conversation as tools for resilience and mental health.
Strengthen community connections, helping people feel less isolated and more supported.

CryoHub Bedford is a leading wellness and recovery centre dedicated to helping individuals improve their physical and mental wellbeing. We specialise in whole-body cryotherapy and compression therapy, providing advanced recovery solutions designed to reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery, enhance performance, and support overall health. We are proud to be a two-time national winner of Cryotherapy Centre of the Year, reflecting our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care, professionalism, and results. Our mission is to make professional-grade recovery accessible to everyone from athletes and fitness enthusiasts to individuals looking to improve their overall wellbeing.
We joined BAYS because we strongly believe in the power of community-driven wellbeing. As specialists in cryotherapy, we see this partnership as a great opportunity to both introduce more people to the benefits of cryotherapy and support the wider use of complementary wellness therapies available through the BAYS network. We value being part of a collective that shares the same goal of improving physical health, mental wellbeing, and quality of life within the Bedford community.
Through our partnership with BAYS, we hope to increase awareness of the importance of recovery and proactive wellbeing. We want to help more people access effective therapies that support physical recovery, mental resilience, and overall health. By working alongside other trusted partners, we aim to contribute to a stronger, healthier community and support individuals in feeling their best both physically and mentally. We are proud to stand alongside BAYS and its partners, and we look forward to continuing to support the wellbeing of our local community.

Love in a Bag was established in 2019 and works with local Charities and Organisations across town, providing toiletries and other essentials to those identified as being in need. The kindness and generosity of the Bedford Community has ensured the project has continued to thrive, allowing me to forge positive working relationships with those who support our most vulnerable residents. Examples of those who benefit from Love in a Bag donations are Bedfordshire Police for those who flee domestic/sexual abuse, Smart CJS and Hope Foundation looking after our local homeless community and Bedfordshire Open Door supporting local young people.
The invitation to be part of the BAYS Community is incredibly exciting and I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with them, in helping benefit the lives of others. Their knowledge, support and advice, to date, has been invaluable and I really believe that working together will take Love in a Bag to the next level, reaching out to even more individuals in need. I am delighted that BAYS has acknowledged the value of the work Love in a Bag does in Bedford and I am very much looking forward to working in partnership with them to continue to make a difference.
